About this app

Tickets that create themselves on a calendar, inside Zendesk Support. The monthly access review, the quarterly vendor audit, the eyewash station check on the first business day of every month, the June kickoff of a yearly process: set it up once and Everytide creates the ticket every time it comes around, with the subject, description, group, assignee, form, fields and tags you chose.

Schedules a timer cannot express

  • Daily, weekly on chosen weekdays, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or every few hours inside working hours. Every N days, weeks, months or years.

  • Monthly on a date (the 31st falls on the last day of shorter months), on the last day, on the 2nd Tuesday or last Friday, or on the 1st or last business day.
  • Business days and holidays come from one of your Zendesk schedules. A run that lands on a closed day can run anyway, be skipped, or move to the next or previous business day.

  • Start date, end date or "after 12 runs", and each schedule's own time zone, with daylight saving handled.

Write the ticket once

  • Subject and description with run placeholders: {{run.month}}, {{run.previous_month}}, {{run.quarter}}, {{run.date}}, {{run.week}}, {{run.number}} and more, so every ticket says which period it is for.
  • Requester, group, assignee, brand, form, type, priority, status (custom statuses too), tags and custom fields. Task tickets can be due a set number of days after the run.

  • Internal note or public reply.

See it before it happens

  • The next eight runs listed as you edit, and the next ticket rendered exactly as Zendesk will receive it.

  • Run now, skip the next run, pause and resume, duplicate.

  • Each schedule shows its recent tickets, the last run, who created it, and any run Zendesk refused (for example after a group was deleted) with the reason.

  • Every ticket is tagged everytide and everytide_<schedule>, so views, triggers and Explore reports can find them.

How runs are created

Everytide has no server and no outside service. Each run is created inside Zendesk by the app running quietly in the browser of an agent who has Zendesk open, as that agent. Runs land within a few minutes of their time while anyone on your team is signed in, and each run is created once, even with many agents online.

If nobody has Zendesk open when a run is due (overnight, weekends), Everytide creates it as soon as the first agent signs in, with an internal note saying when it was due. You can choose to skip missed runs instead, per schedule. If a ticket must exist at an exact hour when nobody on your team is working, Everytide is not the right tool for that schedule.

Get started

Install Everytide, then open it from the left navigation bar (the calendar icon) and choose New schedule. Check the list of next runs and the ticket preview, save, and use Run now once to see a real ticket.

Plan

$120 per Zendesk account per month, unlimited schedules, every feature. 14-day trial: Zendesk asks for a card at install and billing starts when the trial ends unless you uninstall. Billed monthly by Zendesk.

Requires custom objects: Zendesk Suite (Team or higher) or Support Enterprise. Everytide uses one custom object; on Suite Team that is one of your three.

Your data

Everytide runs entirely in your agents' browsers inside Zendesk. There is no Great Work server, no account to create, no API token and no OAuth connection to an outside service. Schedules are stored in your own Zendesk account, as records of the custom object the app installs. Everytide keeps no copies of your tickets or customers, does no background collection, uses no AI, and sends nothing to Great Work or anyone else. Details are in the data access section below and in our privacy policy.

Comment l’installer

  1. Install Everytide from the Zendesk Marketplace. The 14-day trial starts now; Zendesk asks for a card and starts billing when the trial ends unless you uninstall. Everytide needs custom objects (Zendesk Suite, or Support Enterprise) and adds one, "Everytide schedule", where your schedules are stored.

  2. Leave the app available to all agents (no role restriction). Runs are created by the app in the background of whoever has Zendesk open, so the more agents have it, the closer to on time every run is. Who can edit schedules is a separate setting.

  3. Optional setting: Agents can manage schedules. Off by default, so only admins create and edit schedules; everyone else can see them.
  4. On Enterprise plans with custom agent roles, give those roles view and edit access to the "Everytide schedule" object (Admin Center > Objects and rules > Custom objects), or their sessions cannot create runs.

  5. Open Everytide from the left navigation bar (the calendar icon) and choose New schedule. Check the list of next runs and the ticket preview, then save. Use Run now once to see a real ticket.

Uninstalling stops all runs. Tickets Everytide created stay in Zendesk. The "Everytide schedule" object and your schedules stay too, so a reinstall picks up where you left off; an admin can delete the object in Admin Center if you are done with it.
