The Zendesk – GitLab Integration by IntegrateCloud enables support and development teams to work seamlessly together. With this integration, agents can:- Create new GitLab issues directly from Zendesk tickets.- Link and track existing GitLab issues inside Zendesk.- Keep support and engineering aligned with automatic status updates from GitLab to Zendesk.- Reduce manual effort and eliminate context switching by syncing ticket details, comments, and attachments.
Data Disclosure:We are committed to protecting customer data and ensuring compliance with Zendesk Developer Terms. This integration accesses and processes the following data:- Ticket Information: Subject, description, comments, and attachments needed to create or update GitLab issues.- User Information: Name and email address of the Zendesk agent creating or linking an issue.- Metadata: Ticket IDs, status, and timestamps for synchronization purposes.
Data Usage and Storage:- Customer data is used solely for the purpose of creating, updating, and synchronizing GitLab issues with Zendesk tickets.- No customer data is sold, shared, or used for marketing purposes.- Data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).- Temporary processing may occur during API calls, but no persistent storage of ticket or user data occurs on IntegrateCloud servers unless required for troubleshooting or logging (which is retained only for a limited duration).
Data Security:- Strict access controls are in place to ensure only authorized personnel can access logs or troubleshooting data.- All data is encrypted in transit and, if temporarily stored, encrypted at rest.- Regular security reviews and monitoring are conducted to prevent misuse or unauthorized access.

Click Install to add the app. Once the app is installed, open an existing ticket, click on the Apps panel, and you will see the IntegrateCloud GitLab App. Enter your Zendesk credentials, your GitLab token, and click Save. Keep in mind that you’ll need to provide a personal access token that you previously created inside your GitLab account, along with your Zendesk account details. Now, open any existing Zendesk ticket and you will see the app available to start creating and linking issues in your GitLab account.
