What This App Does

The D3x AI Agent integrates directly into the Zendesk ticket editor. A button appears in the Zendesk ticket editor. When clicked, the app reads the guest's latest message and conversation history, then generates a context-aware draft reply using your property's own knowledge base — trained on your specific business data, policies, and brand voice. The generated draft is inserted into the ticket reply editor for the agent to review, edit, and send.

Data Handling & Privacy

This app accesses the following data from your Zendesk account to generate AI-powered draft responses:

  • Ticket subject and comments (including full conversation history)

  • Ticket requester email address

  • Zendesk account subdomain

  • Current agent's signature (if configured)

Prerequisites

You need an active D3x platform subscription. Sign up at d3x.ai if you don't have one.

Setup Steps

  1. Configure your property in D3x — Log in to the D3x platform at d3x.ai and set up your hospitality property. Upload your knowledge base (FAQs, policies, property details) so the AI can generate accurate responses.

  2. Register your Zendesk support email — contact D3x support at support@d3x.ai.

  3. Install the app — Install the D3x AI Agent from the Zendesk Marketplace. No additional configuration is needed within Zendesk.

  4. Verify the integration — Open any support ticket in Zendesk. Click the D3x AI Agent button in the ticket editor to generate a draft reply.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see "Provider email not configured," or "Provider email disabled," contact D3x support at support@d3x.ai to configure or re-enable your account.
