About this app
Displays an alert and prevents sending public comments when the character count in a public reply exceeds the specified limit.If "Disable file attachments" is enabled, tickets cannot be saved or publicly submitted if a file is attached. An alert will appear either when uploading files or attempting to submit tickets.You can also apply restrictions only when a designated checkbox in the ticket form is selected.

This app does not collect any personal information or other data from users.It is used solely for the purpose of reading the [ticket] information stored in Zendesk.
Such data is stored and used only within Zendesk and is never stored outside of Zendesk.Furthermore, no data is shared with any third parties.
The data is handled strictly within the scope necessary to provide the service and, unless explicitly disclosed, it is never used for unintended purposes such as training AI models.Additionally, no Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or sensitive data will be shared without user consent.

Click 'Install' on the Zendesk Marketplace, then select your Zendesk account to proceed with the installation.
From the Zendesk Admin Center, fill in the required fields and click 'Install' to complete the setup.
Settings:
Enter the title of this app.
Set the maximum character count for public replies.
Select the channels where the restriction should apply.
(Optional) Enter the field ID(s) of the checkbox(es), separated by commas, if using checkbox-based control. Ensure these checkboxes are also added to the ticket form.
(Optional) Enter tags, separated by commas, if using tag-based control.
(Optional) Enable "Disable file attachments".
(Optional) If the attachment restriction is enabled, configure target channels and checkbox/tag control as needed.
(Optional) Set role and group restrictions.
Once installed, the app will be available in the sidebar.
